LADUE MIDDLE SCHOOL | RENOVATION + ADDITION

Ladue Middle School has been transformed to support flexible learning, collaboration, and equity. As part of Ladue Schools' Proposition L initiative, the campus was expanded and renovated to nearly double its original size while remaining true to its architectural character. New additions introduce light-filled learning environments and adaptable spaces that support evolving teaching models.

Ladue Middle School's renovation and addition represents a major reinvestment in one of the region's most respected public school districts-modernizing learning environments while strengthening the school's long-term flexibility, safety, and community presence. Cordogan Clark partnered as Architect of Record with Perkins+Will in delivering enhanced academic spaces, improved circulation, and renewed architectural support for educational programming.

The project includes a carefully phased renovation of existing facilities alongside a strategic new addition that expands capacity and introduces contemporary learning environments aligned with 21st-century instructional models. Improvements focus on updated classrooms, collaborative learning zones, and enhanced support spaces that promote student engagement, accessibility, and staff efficiency.

A key objective of the project was to modernize building systems and infrastructure while maintaining the character and functionality of the existing campus. Upgraded finishes, improved daylighting, and a refreshed interior palette create an environment that is both welcoming and durable-designed for the daily demands of a high-performing middle school.

Cordogan Clark served as Architect of Record, providing technical documentation, construction coordination, and quality assurance to support the project's successful delivery. The resulting facility strengthens Ladue Middle School's role as a center of learning and community pride-equipped to serve students for decades more to come. Project partners include Perkins+Will, S.M. Wilson & Co., Civil Design, Inc., McClure Engineering, David Mason + Associates and Todd Mason - Halkin Mason Photography.
