Michael Perez began his professional architecture career at Cordogan Clark & Associates after graduating Cum Laude from Ohio State University and receiving his M. Arch from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to beginning his career, Michael won three distinguished awards: The 2014 ACSA Design-Build Award; Third Place in the 2010 James Gui Competition; and First Place in the 2006 Charleston XXII Competition.
At Cordogan Clark, Michael focuses on education design. He brings to this work a unique design viewpoint informed by his experiences abroad. Michael studied abroad for three months as part of his University's curriculum, focusing primarily on the architecture of Rome while broadening his horizons elsewhere in Italy. Here, Michael also collaborated with Italian students in two separate competition charrette studios. In addition to his overseas studies, Michael has also worked on projects in Saudi Arabia, Germany, and China.
