Jiyoung Moon, SE, LEED AP, combines a comprehensive knowledge of structures and building construction with an innovative design sense. For Cordogan, Clark & Associates she has been responsible for structural engineering of such projects as Roquette International regional office headquarters; Fermi Lab Muon Collector facility; and various commercial and residential projects. Previously she was a Senior Project Engineer for Thornton Tomasetti, for a wide range of projects including Northwestern University, Graduate Dormitory, Chicago; Minneapolis New Central Library, MI; Chicago History Museum, Renovation; Moody Church Christian Life Addition, Chicago; Soldier Field Adaptive Reuse, Chicago; Optima Glenview East Development; Investigation, Miller Park Crane Collapse.
Jiyoung is on the Faculty of the School of the Art Institute, in the Architecture - Interior Architecture and Designed Objects program, since 2008. She received her BS, 1999, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL; and her MS, 2000, University of California, Berkeley, CA. Jiyoung is a LEED Accredited Professional.
