Derek is a Construction Manager with Cordogan, Clark & Associates. His professional experience makes him an asset for a wide variety of project phases. Derek received his Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from Judson University in 2004. He worked as an architect for six years; a heating-ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor for more than three years; and most recently as a construction manager. His background in architecture brings a diverse and meaningful advantage to the CCA’s team.

Derek's project experience includes institutional (Naperville School District 203 – $112-million renovations); hospitality; residential; high-rise; commercial; industrial; and municipality projects. His professional services experience includes urban planning; design programming; schematic & design development; construction development; renderings; 3-D computer generated models; cost estimating; project sequencing; bidding and negotiation; coordination of trades; procurement of material & equipment; and field supervision.
