Amanda joined CCA after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Master's in Architecture, with a concentration in ecology. During her graduate studies, she focused on land redevelopment and higher education in urban communities. Amanda is passionate about integrating nature with the built environment.
Amanda's love for architecture has been lifelong. She grew up in Champaign, Illinois where she attended architecture summer camps as well as a high school summer construction course. Since then, she has been actively involved with mentorship in the architecture community; she participated in the American Institute of Architecture Students, and later worked as a Teaching Assistant. Her passion for integrating nature with architecture extends to her personal life: In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her cats.
