Rupa Kundu, AIA, LEED AP, has led the planning and design of several educational projects at Cordogan Clark & Associates. With 15 years of experience, Rupa develops educational facilities that engage their users and create efficient learning environments. She is also attentive to creating energy efficient spaces that maximize occupant performance. One of her recent projects, the Aurora Police Headquarters and Court facilities in Aurora, Illinois, was awarded a LEED Gold rating. Some of her other projects include a New Elementary School at Clinton, Illinois; the Mary Morgan Elementary School Addition and Renovation in Byron, Illinois; the Watterson Tower Renovations at Illinois State University; Marmion Academy Lab Renovations; Greenman Elementary School, Aurora, Illinois - WASD #129; Herget Middle School, WASD #129; 80-Classroom Addition Program / 5 schools – EASD #131; New Freshman Center, East Aurora High School and Quad County Urban League Middle School Academy Addition. Her work has been recognized with a number of awards.
Rupa is currently the Project Architect at Aurora University and is involved in the design and construction of their New Residence Hall. She received her Master of Architecture from Kansas State University in 1996. She is an Illinois Registered Architect, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
