Cordogan, Clark & Associates was commissioned by Brinshore Development LLC to design and construct a new Senior Housing Facility on a 69,705 square feet site for the City of Highland Park, Illinois. Our firm is the architect of record for this affordable senior housing facility in a cooperative endeavor with the City of Highland Park. Most recently completed the Fall of 2002, the project received funding from a multitude of resources, including AHP and ISHTF revenues.

This $6 million project is located in the heart of Highland Park's central business district. The 60-unit building incorporates both senior condominium and rental units. The three-story, all masonry building has 20 units on each floor consisting of both 775 square feet one-bedroom and 950 square feet two-bedroom units. The facility is fully accessible in accordance with ADA and IHDA standards.

The 60-unit facility houses several meeting/office rooms, a lounge, library and a multi-purpose recreational area. A Day Room and laundry facilities are available on the second and third floors in addition to those available in the condominiums. Additional amenities include a kitchenette, pantry, card room, mailroom,"clinic" area, bike room, elevator, storage areas and individual storage units for the facility's residents.
