Cordogan Clark and Associates was commissioned by the Fox Valley Park District (FVPD) to design a new addition for the Eola Community Center. This new expansion plan added 24,000 S.F. of new space along the north wall of the existing facility. 10,000 S.F. of existing space was renovated as well.

The new design meets the growing needs of the FVPD while remaining adaptable to the future needs of the community.

The expansion of Eola Community Center includes a larger space for the gymnastics program. The design improves equipment and gymnastics areas, improving safety and offering more room for gymnastics to work out. More mats with more dismount space and two vaulting areas allow more gymnasts on the floor at a time. The equipment area was doubled in size and a new lounge and juice bar were added. The remodeled track has 6 laps to mile, larger than the previous 1/8-mile track. The dance program area was relocated and doubled in size. Two large multi-purpose rooms and two classrooms accommodate a wide variety of day and evening activities. Office space was reconstructed, expanding the customer service area. Ancillary amenities including the child -care area and playground area were also redesigned.
