MUNICIPAL
Phillips Park Visitor Center
Cordogan Clark and Associates was commissioned by the City of Aurora to design a new Visitor Center and Mastodon Gallery for Phillips Park.
Completed in 2003, the 3,900 S.F. Center features the mastodon exhibit; pictures and the histories of the park, zoo and Sunken Garden walls, and a 72-seat area for presentations that can be used to host schools and community groups. The Mastodon Gallery now houses the mastodon bones found in the park in the 1930s
