Management Profile
In addition to her experience in space planning and interior architecture, Therese has gained significant experience with mechanical, eletrical, structural, and technical requirements for building, having worked closely with the design and construction of numerous municipal and institutional buildings.
Therese has extensive knowledge in the particularities of the Americans with Disabilities Act. She has surveyed over three million SF and documented discrepancies between existing conditions, recommended compliance improvements as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act Statewide Capital Improvements Program.
Therese has been directly involved in the construction of a number of projects, giving her a solid overview of the many factors which comprise the built environment, providing a balanced and budget-conscious design sensibility. She takes a strong interest in designing to the specific requirements of the client and the client's staff. With her wide-ranging expertise on technical projects, she brings to the team a creative and solid approach to interior architecture, helping the team interpret and implement program goals.
Acting as Project Manager for the Glen Ellyn Public Library, Therese was directly responsible for coordinating final drawings and then supervising the project in the field. The Library opened in December of 1995.
From 1996 to the present, Therese has managed the Metropolitan Chicago area expansion program for MidCity Financial Corporation. She is also project managerof Hollywood Casino's new dockside gaming facility.
